Cub Scouts
Many Ways to Be a Cub Scout:
Tiger Cub: Must be under the age of 8, who has completed kindergarten or is in the first grade or be age 7.
Cub Scout: Must have completed first grade, but not completed third grade, or be age 8 or 9.
Webelos Scout: Must have completed third grade, but has not completed fifth grade, or be age 10, but not yet 11

Boy Scouts
Your son can be a Boy Scout if he has completed the fifth grade and is at least 10 years old or is age 11 or has earned the Arrow of Light Award and is at least 10 years old, but has not reached age 18.
Venture Crew
Venturing is a youth development program of the Boy Scouts of America for young men and women who are 14 years of age OR 13 years of age and have completed the eighth grade and under 21 years of age. Venturing's purpose is to provide positive experiences to help young people mature and to prepare them to become responsible and caring adults.
