This month, our scouts persevered through various hardships such as delivering mulch bags, backpacking several miles through rough terrain, and karaoke?! (photo above)

In order to fundraise for our troop, 

our scouts put up flyers and deliver

mulch for customers. This year they

delivered 701 mulch bags! Big thanks

to scouts, parents, and leaders who 

participated in this year’s mulching!

Our troop and philmont crew hiked a combined 23 miles within 2 days! The troop went to Sky Meadows State Park while the crew went to Shenandoah National Park. Originally, we were planning to camp overnight at Shenandoah, but due to a forest fire in the northern section of the park, events were rescheduled and the group was split. Although these events occurred, both hiking crews pushed through the difficult conditions, weather, and terrain!
